Problem:

This dining room was dark and lacking architectural detail found in other rooms of this 1890 Montclair home by noted architect AF Norris.

Solution:

Two pairs of copper wall sconces and a recessed halogen spot over the built-in drawer chest improve lighting. Typical arts and crafts detail of the plate rail and vertical battens were added. Copper willow leaves embellish the hand printed William Morris wallpaper. The theme is continued with a copper leafed crown molding, copper accents on the refurbished estate sale sideboard, and copper trays on the plate rail.
