Problem - Entrance in Livingston
The double height front entrance felt unfinished and empty. The dark orange glazing was not to the clients' liking.

Solution - Entrance in Livingston:
Instead of filling the walls with huge hanging objects or lots of art, the design solution was to create an architectural paneling grid to organize the space. The centers of each panel are faux painted (ragged glaze) in a muted peachy-beige. An arched, shaped valance dresses the window. The undersized pale wood stair railing system was upgraded to a dark stained handrail & newel posts with painted white balusters. The grey porcelain floor tile was replaced with dark wood plank flooring. The white stair carpet was replaced with a Turkish style runner. A custom sized mirror fits perfectly into a panel by the front door for that last look before leaving.
