Problem:
Leaky shower caused plaster to fall off the kitchen ceiling.
Solution:
The domestic disaster provided the opportunity for a whirlpool tub
the client had wanted for years. A hall closet was annexed to the
stall shower to provide enough space.
"Look closely. This bath is filled with eye-catching details: a
diagonal wrap of hand-painted tiles, a mosaic mirror in a jazzy
shape, and a medicine chest painted lime and blue."

"A bathroom update delivers a whirlpool tub within a clean, crisp
ambiance: Stephens planned the tile design with care and
imagination. The tile choices set a fun tone for the room just as
Stephens and her client, Jessica Sporn, envisioned, but they weren't
done yet. Sporn, whose business, To The Moon Designs, creates
stationery and gifts as well as custom stencil designs, wielded her
paint brush on the walls, shower curtain and medicine cabinet. The
bathroom is functional and visually interesting. You walk in there,
and it just makes you smile."
