2004 NJ ASID Bronze award for design excellence in a residential bath.

Problem:

Family of 4 wanted an additional bathroom with a steam shower.

Solution:

Wasted space in a Montclair, NJ unfinished basement was transformed into a luxurious home spa as part of an extensive renovation. Amenities include a steam shower, towel warmer, and radiant floor heat. Natural materials (such as slate, river rock and glass tile) in a warm, muted color palette all contribute to a sense of pampering. The door glass has been painted with mica, silver & pewter dust and layers of stippled glaze to provide artful privacy.
